Would you like to study in Canada? Undergraduate scholarships at UBC are now available, so don’t miss out.
This post will go into great detail regarding these scholarships, their benefits, and how to apply for them.
The two UBC undergraduate scholarships available for 2024–2025 are Outstanding International Student Awards (OIS) and International Major Entrance Scholarships (IMES).
Depending on the available funding, different numbers and degrees of these overseas scholarships are awarded annually.
Each year, the University of British Columbia offers scholarships and other financial aid totaling more than $20 million to international undergraduate students in honor of their academic achievements.
When appropriate applicants are admitted to UBC, they are awarded the Outstanding International Student (OIS) Award, which is a one-time merit-based entrance scholarship.
Students nominated for this honor have excelled in both academics and extracurricular activities.
International Major Entrance Scholarships (IMES) are awarded to outstanding international students enrolled in undergraduate programs at UBC. IMES are given to students as they begin their first year of study at UBC and are renewable for up to three years.
These scholarships are awarded at varied levels and numbers each year, depending on available money.
